In my mentor handbook there will be the lesson plan for the 3-4 days I mentored also there is the Comprehension Test
Lesson Plan
9:20-9:25: Find a child and get to know them and explain what we are going to do today *First Day* All the other days I asked them what they learned the day before
9:25-9:30: Ask them question figure out where they are at in school, how old are they, all the getting to know questions. *First Day* The other three days I explained what we were going to do and practice the Vocabulary words from the day before.
9:30-9:40: Read The book I have for that day to the child/children
9:40-9:50: Talk about what they learned and have them understand the four modes of writing or what I am teaching them that day
Repeat all this for each group that comes in
Goal:To have each Child understand the four modes of writing, the main idea and the vocabulary
